Mayor Andy Burnham visits our new solar panel installation

Mayor Andy Burnham, resident of The Tootal Buildings, recently visited our new installation of 228 solar panels. These panels generate 74,000 kilowatts per hour annually which equates to 15 tons of carbon.

Andy Burnham comments; “This is the green city region in action generating a lot of the energy that our building needs and what we want to see is a lot more of this right across the city region.” We’re now generating 100% green energy on site and by the end of 2024, we’ll bid farewell to fossil fuels for heating and cooling. This marks a historic achievement for our Grade II listed building.
